Beginner's Block of the Month

You can learn quilting by  making this beautiful quilt!

Each block teaches a different skill. You may start as a beginner, but after making all twelve blocks and learning twelve techniques you will be ready for anything that has to do with quilts.

The first block was so easy, Thanks so much. The directions were very clear and easy to understand. The numbered diagram was so much help. I have already done a log cabin quilt and it was hard compared to the way you do it. Thanks again for the awesome instructions.  Danielle

You will learn the basics from rotary cutting to sashing and borders. You will learn to accurately match corners, use triangles and diamonds in your quilts, and do two different appliqué techniques. You will learn to do paper piecing and English paper piecing. You will learn to press your quilt as you go to make quilting easier and more accurate.

If you have been unable to take a basic quilting course due to time, money or other considerations, you can't do better than this eBook! You will have an excellent grounding in basic quilting and be ready for harder and more difficult techniques. You will find that those difficult patterns don't seem so hard any more, and you will be ready to challenge yourself with more and more. Or you can continue to make the easy patterns with more confidence than before.
